Last updated: June 16, 2026
Scale Operations ("Scale Operations", "we", "us", or "our") provides feedback-intelligence services for e-commerce businesses. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to data processed through our website at scaleoperations.us, our Partner Program, and the feedback-intelligence services we provide to e-commerce stores ("Store Clients"). It does not govern the independent privacy practices of Store Clients or third-party platforms that you may use to interact with those stores.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Data you provide
- Partner Program application details (name, email, country, experience, and the message you submit).
- Communications you send to us (e.g., support or inquiry emails).
- Payment and reward-disbursement details where you qualify for USD rewards.
2.2 Conversation data
On behalf of our Store Clients, we process interactions between shoppers and the stores' AI agents across the stores' communication channels. This may include message content, timestamps, channel and department context, and derived signals. We process this data as a service provider to the Store Client, who determines the purposes of processing.
2.3 Data collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use data
- To operate, maintain, and improve our feedback-intelligence services.
- To generate structured, actionable feedback for Store Clients.
- To administer the Partner Program, evaluate contributions, and issue USD rewards.
- To communicate with you and respond to requests.
- To ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) requires it, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services; your consent (which you may withdraw); and compliance with legal obligations. For conversation data processed on behalf of Store Clients, the Store Client is the controller and we act as a processor.
5. How we share data
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:
- Store Clients, in relation to feedback generated from their channels.
- Service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment and reward processors) under contract.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Parties to a corporate transaction (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Conversation data is retained according to our agreements with the relevant Store Client.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA, UK, and certain US states (such as California) may have additional rights. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@scaleoperations.us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through additional notice.
